Amy's Kitchen – A Handcrafted Summer

Disclosure: I was paid to photograph this event. All opinions are my own.

I recently styled and shot some photos for Amy's Kitchen to promote their upcoming 'A Handcrafted Summer' workshops – floristry with Grace & Thorn, ceramics by Charlotte Mei, natural beauty with Amanda Cook of Trill Farm, and foraged cocktails with Lottie Muir.

This week I had the pleasure of seeing one of the workshops in action! Guests were invited to dine at a beautiful table in E5 Bakehouse, and then created their own jam jar flower arrangements under the expertise guidance of Georgie from Grace & Thorn.

Roasted sweet potato salad with figs, goats cheese, chilli, coriander and a balsamic glaze; creamy pesto with courgette and avocado dressing; pesto with a coriander and lemongrass dressing.

Both of the Amy's Kitchen dishes were gluten-free. The broccoli and cheddar bake was my favourite!

Grace & Thorn have a gorgeous shop in Hackney. Georgie gave everyone pointers on how to choose and arrange their own flowers in a jar. Those peonies though...
