I always look forward to catching up with my #IGBrunchClub friends. This month we hit up an awesome little cafe in Notting Hill called Egg Break. They love oozy orange yolks, avocado and bacon just as much as we do!
Pork belly (and surprise sausage), fried egg, sriracha mayo and rocket in a sesame brioche bun.
Extra sides of hash browns and avocado all round.
Crispy polenta, mushroom ragu and a fried egg.
Broken eggs, chorizo, roast tomato and scamorza with toast.
Farro, 63º egg, radish, beetroot, feta and sorrel pesto.
Check out Clerkenwell Boy's creation – a fried chicken, egg, green tomato, red onion and mayo brioche bun pimped up with bacon, hash browns and avocado. Hell to the yes!
We shared all the desserts – baked salted caramel custard with creme fraiche, lemon bar with brown butter crust, Dutch baby pancake with fruit and powdered sugar, and a chocolate tart with charred marshmallows on top.
Even in the rain, people were queuing along the street to enjoy their Sunday brunch here... and it's easy to understand why! If you're ever in the Notting Hill area, I'd definitely recommend this place. Disclaimer – we were invited to dine as guests but all opinions are my own.
