Scoff & Banter's recently refurbished Kensington location is such a visual treat! The decor is right up my alley, and the restaurant has plenty of natural light. I enjoyed a fantastic lunch with Samee and honestly cannot fault any of the dishes we tried.
Devonshire crab and soused prawn cocktail, sourdough toast, salted butter, herb mayonnaise and malt vinegar scratchings.
Warm wilted kale and slow-cooked garlic flan, tomato relish and textures of white onion. This was absolutely delicious!
Slow roasted belly or pork, liquorice, tarragon, crackling, pickled red cabbage... and a bacon and potato pie. Best side ever?
Fried courgette flower with goat's cheese, walnut and thyme oil, parsnip flavours.
Why hello, double cooked duck fat chips. Oh yes.
Pear and elderflower crumble with vanilla custard.
Dark chocolate fondant with coconut ice cream and lavender nut brittle.
The restaurant is located right next to the Radisson Blu Edwardian, Vanderbilt Hotel. Lunch is really good value at £21 for 3 courses... you won't regret it! Disclaimer – I was invited to dine as a guest. All views are my own.
