Brunch At The Imperial
The full English fry-up; and halloumi and smashed avocado on sourdough toast.
Sichuan glazed roast duck, spiced red cabbage, coconut rice (amazing) and purple sprouting broccoli with red pepper sauce. What a looker.
For dessert, we shared these beauties – peanut butter cheesecake, brittle and cherry jelly; chai sticky toffee pudding with caramelised white chocolate ice cream (wow); and Earl Grey panacotta with poached pear and ricotta donuts.
The team at The Imperial were wonderful, and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. I did eye up some other diners' Sunday roasts and Bloody Marys... think I know what I'll be having next time!
